Welcome back to Mixtape Monday, where Activision Blizzard King employees share what they’re…well, bumping to while they’re creating the games you know and love.

Last week’s picks were all over the musical style map; this week, it’s clear that people are into driving tunes with a whole lot of low end.

Without further ado:

Spiritbox, “Holy Roller.” A flame-throwing, guitar-shredding Mad Max moment. (Recommended by Susan Lowmiller, recruiter, Activision)

Red Sparowes, "The Soundless Dawn Came Alive As Cities Began to Mark the Horizon.” Post-rock without the Ian Curtis impression. (Recommended by Grant Parker, QA functional tester, Activision)

Hound Dog Taylor, "Sitting Here Alone.” Pure, unadulterated Chicago blues. (Recommended by Giovanni Faisca Robles, QA functional tester, Activision)

Filter, "Hey Man, Nice Shot.” A little pop, a little industrial, all ‘90s rock. (Recommended by Ted Morente Jr, senior artist, Treyarch)

Idris Elba, "Make It Bump.” If 007 went to an Ibiza nightclub and never came back. (Recommended by Elliot Picarello, artist, Blizzard)

That’s it for this week!
